The structure was severely damaged and fire crews located a body, believed to be one of the residents of the property, within the debris,” a news release from the Lennox and Addington County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stated on Saturday evening.

OPP and Office of the Fire Marshal investigators were still at the scene Sunday morning.

An update from the OPP on Monday morning said that while the Office of the Fire Marshal scene investigation has concluded, there is no cause of the fire or damage estimate “available at the current time.”
